Sonya Nichol - Clinical Suppy Consultant

Sonya Nichol is a mission-driven leader dedicated to improving lives through global health, community development, and clinical supply operations. Born and raised in Kenya, she carries a deep, firsthand understanding of the challenges faced by underserved communities and a lifelong commitment to creating sustainable pathways to better health, education, and opportunity.

Sonya has experience as a Clinical Supply Coordinator, with skills in procurement, inventory management, and cold-chain logistics supporting health programs. She has contributed to clinical supply operations through vendor coordination, regulatory compliance, and accurate stock control, while also supporting international imports and exports of medical and program supplies. This includes coordinating cross-border shipments, ensuring accurate documentation, and supporting the timely movement of critical health materials through global supply chains. She is transitioning into clinical logistics with a strong interest in strengthening reliable access to medicines in global health settings.

In addition to her professional experience, Sonya brings a deeply personal connection to clinical research. As a mother of twin boys diagnosed with cystic fibrosis, she was closely involved in clinical trials throughout their early years, gaining firsthand insight into the patient journey, the importance of reliable clinical supply, and the impact of research on patient outcomes. This experience further fuels her commitment to advancing access to life-changing therapies.

She is the founder of Holding Hands Africa, a nonprofit focused on advancing access to healthcare, education, and empowerment for women and children. Through this work, she has developed and led impactful programs, built cross-sector partnerships, and driven fundraising and advocacy initiatives that deliver measurable results in vulnerable communities.

With experience spanning global health and humanitarian work—including engagement with initiatives aligned with organizations such as Doctors Without Borders—Sonya brings strong expertise in program design, partnership development, and community-based impact. Her work reflects a consistent focus on equity, access, and long-term empowerment.

In her personal time, Sonya enjoys golf, pickleball, cycling, and walking on the beach with her dog—activities that keep her grounded and connected to both wellbeing and nature.
